Philip Blenkinsop's first handmade book, realized in 1997.
Wooden spine and covers, bound in 'Prayer Cloths. Embedded in the spine is a silver plated Buddha image pressed from clay, the Book's title, embossed in brass foil and a spent 50 caliber bullet picked up off Pochentong boulevard after the tank battle during the Coup d'Etat in Phnom Penh in 1997.
Inside, of the artist's hand-printed argentic (silver gelatin) prints, mounted on archival 300gm art paper and bound with black steel hex nuts.
